I've always admired other people's pictures, how they just look so on point. But I am not a fan of mine until I had the opportunity to be photographed by Kenji Ono the founder of Tara Kenji Photography. I'd seen her work and literally prayed please don't let me be the first time she can't capture the beauty that I've seen her capture. Not because of her skills but because I am a HOT Mess when caught on camera.
She didn't fail she blew me away as she clicked away asking about my goals, my let downs, my hopes. She caught the true me in her lens and it helped to heal my heart and set a tangible image of what I look like when I SUCCEED.
